Congratulations to Yeovil Graduates who are crowned champions in the FourTwo league for the fifth season in a row. In the final match Bridport needed to score 18 points against Durnovaria and concede less than 3 in order to finish top but could only manage a 17-3 victory, thereby failing by just a single point in a very close finish.
The KO Cup finals are now being played at Crewkerne Sports Centre (Wadham School) due to a mix up with the booking.
Congratulations to Gryphon 1 who are champions in the Mixed Division Two and will be promoted at the expense of Cerne Abbas who have been relegated from the top flight. Who wins Division One is still in doubt.
There was a good turnout for the Divisional tournaments. The winners were Barry Harriss/Wendy Field and Stephen Rowell/Janet Martin.
The Junior tournaments planned for late November have been postponed until later in the season. Date and venue still to be confirmed.
The Veterans tournament has been won by Bryan Collins and Jackie Malton (Wessex Wanderers). Congratulations to them.
Regrettably Charmouth have had to withdraw their 2nd team due to early injuries and a lack of reserves. All of their fixtures in Division Two are therefore cancelled and all fixture lists have been updated to reflect this. Note that fixtures for Charmouth 1 are NOT affected.
The website has been updated with all fixtures for the new season.
Remember that all clubs that have more than one team in any league MUST nominate the players for the higher teams before any games are played (Rule B3(c)). A suitable form for this is available here.
