The tournament consisted a single group playing three games to 21 points with no setting. The pair who won most matches won the tournament.
Each pair was awarded 1 point for every 2 years by which their combined age exceeded 80.
The tournament went well considering, and the 5 pairs were well matched, apart from Cliff and Angie. But for a few points here and there in a couple of games any of the other 4 pairs could have won. Everyone seemed happy with how close it could have been but for a few misplaced serves.
Congratulations to the eventual winners Bryan Collins and Jackie Malton, with Dave and Liz Osborne in 2nd place.
