This year we had 8 pairs who played in a single group with every pair playing each of the other pairs in one game to 21 points with no setting. As always pairs were awarded a handicap based on age, with one point for every 3 years the combined age exceeded 80 with handicaps scaled back as required.
Following the trend of the last 2 years every pair won at least one game. Matthew Hillman and Debbie Lelliot were consistent throughout and deserved to win having won every one of their matches. The runners-up spot was not decided until the very last match with the honours going to the scratch pairing of Will Marks and Vicki Edwards
