It"s a clean sweep of the Mixed League for teams from Weymouth this season!
Weymouth Sports have proved too strong for everyone in Division Two following their re-entry into the league this season after an eight year absence, while Weymouth Network are champions in Division One once again.
The Handicap tournament has been cancelled.
The KnockOut Cup final will be contested by Cerne Abbas and Wessex Wanderers 2, with the Plate final will be between Dorchester and Brisport Royals. The finals take place at Crewkerne Sports Centre on 25th April.
The PartnerSwap tournament has been won by Gill Collier(Bridport Royals) and Cliff Aston (Cerne Abbas).
The Veterans tournament has been won for the 2nd year running by Bryan Collins and Jackie Malton (Wessex Wanderers).
The draw for the preliminary round of the Knock-Out Cup has been made. Matches are due to be played week commencing 10th November. All teams are reminded to advise player names to the KO Secretary prior to the match.
The website has been updated with all fixtures for the new season.
Remember that all clubs that have more than one team in any league MUST nominate the players for the higher teams before any games are played (Rule B3(c)). A suitable form for this is available here.
A new club joining the League this season is Wareham & Purbeck All Stars, playing at Purbeck Leisure Centre in Wareham.
Welcome also to Weymouth Sports and Crewkerne Hermitage, clubs that have previously played in the League and withdrew for various reasons. Welcome back.
