Only 6 pairs entered, resulting in a single group with each pair playing all of the other pairs. The matches were organised as two rubbers to 21 points with no setting, starting at a pre-determined handicap score. The winner was the pair that won most games, or if equal then the pair that scored the greater number of points.
Handicapping was for the most part very good, and the result was in doubt right to the end. Congratulations to Stephen Rowell and Brenda Jones who were victorious by a single win, and to Francis and Lara who pipped David and Caroline to 2nd place by scoring more points.
