There were 9 pairs entered but 1 pair had to pull out on the day, leaving 8 pairs to contest a single group. Each match consisted of two games to 21 points with no setting.
There were some inevitably close games and a number ended one game each, but overall Jacob and Amy proved too strong for everyone else, finishing clear winners. Everyone else were on a par with each other, providing some very close games. Mark and Helen were awarded 2nd spot having won the same number of games as Lindsay & Jane but doing better in the head-to-head between them.
