All players were given a handicap based on their age, and starting scores were adjusted accordingly.
The girls played in a single group, each match being the best of three games to 21 points with setting. Positions were decided by most matches won, then most games won then least games lost. If there was still a tie between 2 players, then the result of the match between them.
The competition was very close with 3 players winning 2 matches each. Lauren finished 4th but had a close match against Hannah who eventually finished 3rd having lost more games than both Emma and Molly. Inseparable by matches and games won and lost, the head-to-head match between Emma and Molly determined the winner, with Molly winning 22-20 in the 3rd game.

The boys were split into 2 groups, with the top two in each group proceeding to semi-finals. All matches were a single game to 21 points with setting with positions determined by most games won.
Nathan Stroud won all of his group games but then lost his semi-final against James Rose. Like Nathan, Harry Merewether won all games in his group and was too strong for Sam Johnstone in the other semi. The final, like their game in the group stages, was won convincingly by Harry Merewether.
